Hiking=Ticks (Blech!)

It's a great time of year to take your dog for a walk through the woods but if you live in the North East, it can be worrisome because of Lyme Disease. The American Lyme Disease Foundation advises that an infected tick can spread the disease to your dog or you within 36-48 hours. Many topical tick killers work within 48 hours - that leaves a window of opportunity that you want to slam closed! You should always inspect your dog and yourself when you return from a walk and carefully remove any ticks. But you can also cut down on the chances by spraying yourself with our all natural, alcohol-free Simply Fresh - our blend of geranium, eucalyptus, lemongrass, cedar wood and peppermint have been used for centuries to repel pests. We say "Stop The Hop" - spray it on your pup (avoid their eyes & nose) and your own socks & pant legs before you go on that hike.
